What Do You Think? Is Wendy Williams a Man?

What are your thoughts on the subject of – is Wendy Williams a man? While others may consider this topic controversial or even in bad taste we think it’s something worthy of some fun discussion. That’s why we created a website about it! When you really get right down to it, the question really isn’t that strange at all anyway. I mean the most famous drag queen of all time had her own talk show – RuPaul. Why is it so far fetched that Wendy Williams isn’t a man dressed in drag?

The truth is the question – is Wendy Williams a man can only truly be answered by Wendy herself. Her radio show debuted years ago and I was a huge fan way back then. The funny thing is i had now idea what she looked like. Since the show wasn’t on TV back then, I never had the chance to see any images of her. It wasn’t until her TV show aired that I got to see how tall she was. At that point i began to question her gender because of her odd mannerisms and over-the-top antics on stage.

The moment that stands out most in my memory dates back to 2009. My entire family and I were hanging out on the couch watch the Wendy Williams show. My son was sick from school that day and my husbands parents were in town for the week. The show came on and I think it was the first time my husbands parents had seen the show. The look on their faces told the story more than anything else. The kicker was when my son actually asked – “Is Wendy Williams a man?”.

Since that time the question – Is Wendy Williams a man seems to come up very often. It’s like the ongoing running joke in my family. But we’re not alone. I’ve overheard people at work, on the subway even waiting in line at the movies discussing the subject. It comes up all over the place and sometimes these discussions even turn into heated arguments. That’s why we created this little website. My husband is an engineer and I enjoy writing – so it’s pretty much a perfect little past time for us. We both enjoy the show also.

Is Wendy Williams a man? Who knows, but the question sure is intriguing right? It interested us enough to created a website dedicated to the question. What do you think?
