Minnesota’s May 2012 Unemployment Report



The State of Minnesota’s May 2012 unemployment rate was released at 5.6%, unchanged from April 2012. The number of unemployed workers actually decreased for the month of May (slightly). Also, the number of employed worked increased as did the overall civilian work force numbers for MN. The net effect of these changes was a static unemployment rate for the month.
