The owner of the game console can also link two Game Gear consoles to play game together (you need a special cord to do so).

PORTABLE MASTER SYSTEM....
The nature of this unit was basically a portable SEGA Master System. Never heard of the Master System? It was the chief competition to the Nintendo NES. It was hugely popular in Europe but here it was over shadowed by the NES.

NEW SEGA GAME GEAR & SEGA TV TUNER
This was a really rare and great purchase. A game gear with the original box in near mint condition as well as a new tv tuner. Unfortunately, the TV tuner didn't function due to the fact that sega removed support for it in later model game gears.

SEGA, THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS AND FOR THE GOOD TIMES
Sega Game Gear was the best thing to happen to me when it was initially released. I got it Brand New without a game, and Mortal Kombat(Brand New)separately for Christmas in '93. The Game Gear has great sound, great color, and a nice selection of games. My game library was small at that time.
