POWERS THE LAPTOP!
If you need a power cable, your options are limited. Either don't buy one, or pray your battery lasts forever. Just buy the cable already; if you're looking at this page, you need it.

CHEAP AND IT WORKS - PERFECT
If you don't want to pay [...] to [...] bucks for a DELL AC adapter, this is the way to go. I admit I was hesitant to buy this unofficial charger, but ever since I plugged it in it's been perfect. Its labor isn't too complex in any case, just let electricity into my Inspiron 1520 laptop.

GOOD 4 D $
This product is a good value for the price. I had a charging issue that turned out to be a motherboard issue. Seems like Dell Inspirion laptops have this issue.
Charger worked right out of the box. Not bad for under $20.
