SL300 - A GREAT CHOICE FOR A 13.3 LAPTOP!
I purchased the SL300 after using a Dell "Inspiron 6400" for the last 3 years.
The SL300 is light, very silent and very comfortable.
I am very satisfied with its' capabilities.

EXCELLENT MACHINE WITH A SMALL FOOTPRINT
I searched far and wide for a powerful system with small form factor. For the same price with HP or Sony you'd be seeing less powerful processors and less RAM, possibly a smaller hard drive.

GREAT PERFORMANCE, BUT WITH SOME QUIRKS
Product works great. Very fast, very reliable. Minor concerns: the power cord is a little awkward, especially since it doesn't have a velcro strap around it - so it gets out of control. The machine makes an obnoxious 'BEEP' whenever you plug it in or unplug it, which isn't exactly necessary.

First impressions of the lenovo u330
I received my Lenovo u330 two days ago. I paid $880 from Amazon just before the price went up to $1020, which always makes you feel good. I bought this to replace my 4 year old Toshiba M55 which is still going strong with Xubuntu Hardy.
